Ita Wegman Gathering 2021

Creating Radical Space for the Other – I Development and the Christ Impulse
Monday, February 22, 2021
Rudolf Steiner asks in 1922 ‘Where, tell me, does truth still exist? Rudolf Steiner asks in 1922.
In the same lecture series given to the Christian Community Priests he shares -…‘If, in the
realms into which the luciferic constantly streams and into which the ahrimanic constantly
streams, we look towards the divine that holds the balance, we find there pure love as the
fundamental force of everything that streams continuously, forming the human being
outwardly, and giving him soul and spirit inwardly.’
Dr. Michaela Gloeckler will offer a presentation on the relationship between Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman;

Jaimen McMillan will work with the verse Rudolf Steiner gave
to Ita, with an eye on ‘Balancing the inner and outer movement of the I Organization through Spacial Dynamics; Angela Foster shares on The Blessing of each Word we speak;

Milena Kowarik from the Executive Council in Switzerland will speak to finding the balance and what does this mean in our time?;

Dottie Zold will share from her life’s
work on the Buddha Eightfold Path/Daily Exercises which along with the Essential Six
can create a culture of selflessness and the development of our etheric heart in relations
to Rudolf Steiner’s body of work.
Please join us for our third annual Ita Wegman gathering in Chicago. This year, online
and in person, we will look at how can we find the balance within ourselves and what Ita
Wegman has to offer to the conversation as someone who lived during the time of Nazi Germany and the great chaos within the Vorstand after the death of Rudolf Steiner.

In a notebook from Easter 1940, Ita Wegman writes ‘…Remain as neutral as possible – not because it is convenient, but out of a love for humanity…Those who are neutral in the
most genuine way will comprise the third army, which has the spirit as its weapon and unites with the dead whose souls have been awakened and who are being led by Michael
in the suprasensory worlds.
